My whole life I have been on the cusp of creativity. I remember being in 7th grade at a new school and we got to do a different elective class each quarter. We did Art, woodshop, home economics, and computers. I was proficient in all of them but just enough to not think any of them were “my thing”. I don’t know about you but my whole life I have been searching for that thing to attach myself to, to identify me. I danced as a small child but could never get past the anxiety of school tryouts. I love to cook and be in the kitchen but never really let myself share that love. Now I am 26 and filling this season of singles with all these forgotten things that light up my eyes and bring me joy and I am realizing I’m not half bad.

 

So here I will write and share what I create, sometimes for you but mostly for me. I have found what my thing is, it’s Jesus; I am attached to him and he is my lese through which I see the world. I don’t need these things to make me feel like me or like I am who I am supposed to be because Jesus does that. I just want to create and share and eat and dance.
